April

April 14 – Electronic Waste Drop Off Day

On this day Santa Fe Residents can drop off old computers, CRT monitors (Old style computer monitors $10.00 charge per monitor) computer peripherals, electronic equipment, cell phones and televisions ($20.00 charge per television).

April 22 – Earth Day at Genoveva Chavez Community Center

Keep Santa Fe Beautiful will be celebrating by giving the first 150 residents free tree seedlings.

April 28 – Great American Cleanup

On this day volunteers young and old help clean up our city streets, parks, arroyos and school campuses.  KSFB hosts a picnic to thank our many hard-working volunteers.

June 

June 22 – Keep Santa Fe Beautiful Awards Night 

Volunteers and businesses who have participated and supported  in Keep Santa Fe Beautiful’s projects and events are recognized for their efforts at this special evening.

September

September 6 – Zozobra

Prevention versus pickup:  KSFB helps make the night of Zozobra more enjoyable, by keeping it a litter free event.  Attendees are provided trash bags and asked to palce thier trash into the bags and not on the ground.  Clean up by the city crews is made easier with everyone’s cooperation.

September – Toss No Mas Fall Cleanup

On this day like our GAC Spring Cleanup volunteers help clean up our city streets, parks, arroyos and school campuses. 

October

October 20 – Keep Santa Fe Beautiful Silent Auction and Wine Tasting Fundraising Event

Funds raised at Keep Santa Fe Beautiful’s eleventh annual fundraiser is used for projects that educate school children and residents alike on the importance of litter prevention, beautification and the benefits of recycling.  We also provide grants to Santa Fe Schools for litter prevention, beautification, and recycling.

November TBA - Recycle Santa Fe Art Festival

The festival includes a recycled art market, exhibits, a fashion contest, music, food, and children’s activities all weekend long. The festival educates the public about waste reduction in a fun and creative venue. The event is an effort to stimulate local economic development and reduce the amount of waste disposed in the landfill. All activities during this three-day event are open to the public.
